Celebration of Lifelong Learning
On Thursday, June 6th, 2019, from 12:00 noon to 1:30 p.m. in the School of Education Matoaka Room, we will celebrate the successes of our learners and the service of our tutors at our annual Celebration of Lifelong Learning!
Our featured speaker will be Megan Healy, chief workforce development advisor to the governor.
A light luncheon will be served.
Twisted Tri Festival
Literacy for Life will host Williamsburg's first Twisted Tri Health and Wellness Festival on Saturday, June 29 at the Kingmill Resort Plantation site. This family-friendly festival will include golf, a 1 mile fun run, a 5K run, yoga and meditation as well as health conscious vendors, food and drinks. Live music for the festival will be provided by BrassWind band.

Reading Between the Wines
This popular fall annual fundraiser features a guest author, live and silent auctions, and heavy hors d'oeuvres. This year's event will be held at William & Mary's Mason School of Business and will feature New York Times best selling author, Deanna Raybourn. Deanna is a nominee for the 2019 Edgar Alan Poe Award for best mystery writer.
Dancing with the Williamsburg Stars
This yearly event is held in collaboration with Big Brothers, Big Sisters and features local celebrities as dancers. This year's evening of fun and entertainment was held Saturday, March 2, 2019, 7:00 p.m. at CrossWalk Community Church on Rt. 60 in Norge.
